CGA License
Plate Program
An Easy Way to Support the Game
If golf has given you something meaningful, your license plate is an easy way to give a little back. The CGA specialty plate puts your connection to Carolinas Golf on the road, and part of every plate fee supports the Carolinas Golf Foundation.
How to Get Your
CGA Plate
The North Carolina DMV issues the CGA plate. You can order it online or in person at any NC DMV office. The standard plate is $30 and carries four numbers followed by "CG." For $60, you can personalize the plate with four characters of your choosing ($30 for the plate plus $30 for personalization).
You don't need to live in North Carolina to order one. You just need a vehicle registered in the state.

Where $20 of Every Plate Fee Goes
Twenty dollars of every CGA plate fee goes to the Carolinas Golf Foundation, whose mission is to provide access to life-changing opportunities through golf. The Foundation supports junior golf development, women's golf, adaptive golf, agronomic research, and scholarships across the Carolinas. Because the CGA covers the Foundation's administrative costs, contributions go directly to programs.
