Setting up a GHIN profile to post your child's score from your own account.

Guardians manage their child's GHIN account through their own Digital Profile. To get set up on the GHIN app, you'll need to set up a Digital Profile if you've never used the GHIN app before or add your child to your established profile.

I'm new to GHIN (no Handicap Index or account):

  • Check the email you provided Youth on Course or TYGA for a email from noreply@ghin.com letting you know that you've been "Added as a Guardian."
  • Open the email > click the link to set up your account
  • You'll need your child's name, GHIN number and/or that email address to get set up.

I'm not new to GHIN (have a Handicap Index or account):

  • Check the email you provided Youth on Course or TYGA for a email from noreply@ghin.com letting you know that you've been "Added as a Guardian."
  • Open the email > sign into your account
  • You'll need your child's name, GHIN number and/or that email address to get set up.
  • Once set up, you'll be able to switch between your profile and their profile to post scores
    • Click the "More" button on the bottom right of the GHIN app > select "Change Golfer" and choose the profile you want to post a score in.

I am a guardian and just created a GHIN number for myself. How do I get my Digital Profile set up when it's already connected to my child's account?

  • Send us an email (gasc@carolinasgolf.org) with your GHIN number and email and your child's GHIN number so we can get you both set up correctly.

I am a guardian with Enhanced GPS. Can my child use that when they play?

Yes and no. If your child does not have a separate Digital Profile, then they will be able to your Enhanced GPS subscription under your account. If your child does have their own Digital Profile, they will not be able to your Enhanced GPS as it is a separate account that is not linked.
