What's no longer in the new GHIN® app
A couple of features from the old Golf Handicap Information Network® (GHIN®) app didn't make the move: manually entered club distance ranges in the My Bag feature, and the My Courses feature with default tees.
We've sent requests to the GHIN app team to bring My Courses back. We'll update this page as soon as we hear more.
Shot distance ranges in My Bag
What changed: In the old app, you had the ability to manually enter shot length ranges for each club in your bag with the Enhanced GPS subscription. The ability to enter ranges is no longer available in the new app.
Where it stands: Feature has been removed. We haven't heard that it's coming back. If you were regularly using this feature, let us know. Your input helps us provide recommendations for the USGA GHIN app team.
My Courses and default tees
What changed: The old app allowed you to "save courses" and set a default tee for each course saved. The new app now features courses nearby and recently played courses instead.
What to do for now: Choose your course and tees each time you post a score or start a round.
Where it stands: Requested to add back. We've sent a request to the GHIN app team, because we've heard many of you relied on this feature. If this feature was part of your routine, tell us. Every request we receive goes to the GHIN app team, along with our recommendations.
