Custom Tee Fields

The Tee custom field is a default field in every Event/League that lets you quickly set the course and tee for a field of players in a round or a Round-Robin Schedule.

Some users prefer to use Default Tees, but these tees require players to be on the Master Roster. Of course, there are often Events/Leagues where all players are not are on the Master Roster. Using the Tee field instead is a great option for when your event has guests, or when the tee is specific to that Event/League and differs from a player’s Default Tee. 

Assigning the Tee field

The Tee field is defined in the Player Profile (Golfers tab > Event/League Roster > click player). You can populate the Tee field:

  • Manually in the Player Roster Profile
  • Through a spreadsheet
  • During registration

Setting tees in pairings:

  1. Go to Rounds > Create New Pairings (or Edit Existing Pairings).
  2. Click “Set Course & Tee,” then choose a tee and Front 9, Back 9, or All 18.
  3. Click “Select All Players,” then select the Tee field answer(s) for that tee. You can select multiple answers for the same tee.
  4. Click “Go,” repeat for each remaining tee, then click “Save Pairings.”

Setting tees in the Round-Robin Scheduler:

  1. Set the course and choose All 18, Front 9, or Back 9.
  2. Set the Default Tee, which applies to players with no tee in their profile.
  3. Match each Tee field value to the appropriate course tee.
  4. Set any additional options (tee times vs. shotgun, start times, applying settings to other rounds), then click Save.
