Cloning an Event or League
For recurring Events and Leagues, cloning from one season to the next can be a huge time saver. Cloning a previous Event or League allows you to pull over existing tournaments, portals, settings and more!
To clone an Event/League:
- In the Customer Center, click Clone an Event/League.
- Enter the event/league to copy from, a new name, a category, and a season, then click Next.
- Check the items you want to clone (options vary by setup), then click Next.
- If you’re cloning Rounds and Series, set a date for each round.
- Click Clone.
What you can clone:
- Player Roster (rarely needed, since the players usually change)
- Logos and Banners
- Member Portal (a big time-saver for portals with a lot of content)
- Registration Form
- Tournaments (exact setup carries over)
- Tournament Library (mainly for multi-round leagues with varied formats)
- Golf Hub Page
- Divisions, Flights, and Teams (these come over empty until you add players)
- Rounds and Series
- Payment Gateway
- Registration Payment Options
